| HORSEFIELD TORTOISES CB06 ONLY £119 EACH SOLD OUT FOR NOW The ideal tortoise for the garden and very hardy. Years ago everybody had these hardy tortoises in the garden. They will grow up to 8" - 9", although they are around 3" at the moment. They require little maintence and just need a safe garden with plenty of weeds and grass, a hide or shelter to cool off in and excess to clean drinking water. Care sheets come with every tortoise. Because these tortoises are still young they will need to come in at night or if the weather is bad, so a tortoise tray would be ideal for them to live in for now. When they are over six years of age, they can be kept out side all the summer (from May to October) before hibernating for a short sleep in November. When fully grown they will hibernate all winter, so they will need a tortoise tray set up for the winter months until the summer arrives again. Please telephone for further details.
